Software released 2023/04/29

S1 Software 2.34, e-foil 2.0.0

S2 & 3 Software 2.81.11, e-Foil 2.06.0

Changes from 2.81.2 (R139) to 2.81.11 (R147)

• Improvement to high throttle control

Improvements to on and off trigger application at high gears through 15-20, creating a smoother on and off power application at high speeds.

• Jet and Jet Boost mode :

Jet mode optimises the motor drive for the Jet for best performance, and for safety and longevity of your Fliteboard

Jet-Boost adds an additional boost of power at take-off to get you planing, automatically backing off the power once you're up.

• Jet Boost now optional:

Jet Boost has now been made optional to allow easier throttle application for wave riders. Boost mode would kick in when a wave rider came back on the power after throttling off to ride a wave.

• Light-rider option, reduces low gears

Light rider - If the rider typically rides in low gears, e.g. 1-3, Light Rider mode will provide them more lower gears at smaller increments to optimise their ride and give them more control (e.g. 1-10), while still allowing full power in gear 20.

• GPS improvement

Improvement to the reading of the GPS sensor and bug fixes around GPS

• (2.06.0) Improvement to motor drive function when releasing the trigger.

• No Series 1 changes.

Software released 2023/01/06
S1 Software 2.34, e-foil 2.0.0
S2/S2.2/S3 Software 2.81.2 e-Foil 2.04.0

S2/S2.2 Changes from 2.80.21 (R134) to 2.81.2 (R139) Introduction of series 3 software.

• Debounce erase pairing:

To clear Bluetooth connection controller magnet now must be moved and then reapplied to the Flitebox pairing target. This is to mitigate pairing then unpairing issues straight away if controller not moved from target.

• Jet/Prop selector
added for Introduction of new modules.

Jet Mode - optimises the motor drive for the Jet for best performance, and for safety and longevity of your FliteBoard, adds an additional boost of power at take-off to get you planing, automatically backing off the power once you're up.

Software released 2022/11/30
S1 Software 2.34, e-foil 2.0.0
S2/S2.2 Software 2.80.21, e-Foil 2.04.0

S2/S2.2 Changes from 2.79.4 (R128) to 2.80.21 (R134)

• Battery voltage compensation :

Previously as the Flitecell SOC% depleted it would require you to change to a higher gear to get the same performance. This has now been compensated for and you can keep nearly the same gear from full to flat SOC%

• More accurate % at low SOC

At low state of charge reading previously the battery would rapidly deplete. Changes to the SOC% reading to provide a more accurate reading therefor less of a rapid depletion at low SOC%.

• Reduction in maximum gear at low SOC (reduce to limp home)

The maximum gear available will reduce gradually as the SOC gets low. Previously would just drop straight to gear 3 in limp home mode.

• New sport trigger control

Allow more control over power when modulating the trigger.

• Relaxed arming trigger pump timing

Allow a longer hold of the trigger when arming the Fliteboard rather than a quick pull and release. Easier to arm for customers.

• No series 1 changes
