Board Repairs

If subjected to damage, Carbon, Fibreglass, and ABS boards can be repaired by your local surfboard or composite repair specialist. It is important that epoxy resin is used, not polyurethane-based resin. For smaller dings or cracks, a simple touch-up with a fast-set epoxy resin (such as Sun Cure) may be acceptable to the customer or partner. For larger repairs, fibreglass cloth or carbon twill/cloth should be used in conjunction with a product such as Q-Cell (a lightweight additive used to thicken resin) and epoxy resin.

ABS construction boards can be repaired using the same method — fibreglass cloth and epoxy resin.

Inflatable Fliteboard AIR boards can be repaired using the included repair kit. Please refer to the detailed AIR Puncture Repair guide and follow those instructions.

Failure to complete repairs promptly may result in loss of Bluetooth signal, connectivity issues, or extensive water damage to the board.
